Richard Forsyth is an ex professional footballer who amassed over 250 Football League appearances with Birmingham City, Stoke City, Blackpool, Peterborough United and Cheltenham Town. Alongside his 20 years of playing experience Richard is a UEFA B qualified coach and spent a number of years coaching at Wolverhampton Wanderers. In addition to this he has obtained a BA degree in Physical Education where he been teaching for over 10 years. Richard is currently AFC Wulfrunians first team manager where the philosophy is to nurture and trust in young players which has also provided a pathway for any outstanding players from the academy to be selected for first team duties, this gives players an incentive to improve and make their way into men’s football.
Jeffrey Ashton is a highly experienced and qualified UEFA A elite coach and has worked within a number of professional clubs such as Stoke City and Wolverhampton Wanderers developing young players through the youth system. He is now currently on the board of Staffordshire County where he is u18’s manager and oversees the development of all young players across the county. Jeff has multiple links with clubs across the midlands and also outside the country with strong contacts in Canada (Vancouver Whitecaps) where they can provide fantastic opportunities for football scholarships and further education.
George Forsyth is a current semi-professional footballer for Worcester City formerly of Wolverhampton Wanderers and most recently Kidderminster Harriers. Alongside playing, George is a Level 2 qualified coach awaiting to undertake his UEFA B coaching badge. Having recently been involved in the academy system George understands what challenges young adults between the ages of 16-19 are facing.
