Students will study 3 main units

Entry requirements

Five GCSE passes at grade 6 or higher, including Mathematics at grade 7 or above. Students will be expected to have followed the higher level mathematics course.

Progression routes

A qualification in Mathematics proves your ability to think logically, understand complex ideas and apply them to the real world and employers actively seek out such people. There is no doubt that Mathematics is highly regarded by universities and not just for those wishing to continue the subject at degree level:

Mathematics opens the door to more career  opportunities than any other subject e.g. Engineering, Systems Analyst, Medicine, Accounting, Teaching, Statistician, Surveying.
