Year 9 have just completed a unit of work, looking at current global environmental issues. A major part of this unit involved understanding how and why the use of plastic has increased over the last 100 years, and the impact this has had on the planet. In response to this learning, students were tasked with writing a letter to raise the issue with the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, George Eustice. The quality of work submitted by Year 9 for this task has been incredible, so good in fact that 12 of the best letters are going to be sent to the UK Government in expectation of a reply.
Letters From the Students: Ishani, Jessica Singh, Avianna Marcel
