Ormiston NEWA Football Academy is an exciting initiative which has forged close Links with Worcester and Wolverhampton Universities offering excellent further education option and choice.

Planned fixtures against a cluster of elite professional football clubs, further enhances the high reputation and expectation of students within ONEWA Football Academy. Wolverhampton Wanderers FC; Walsall FC; Port Vale FC, Shrewsbury Town FC are just a few arranged fixtures that create the opportunity to be seen and assessed. Staffordshire Football Association Represented Teams are further opportunities to progress and be seen.
Trips abroad playing against Major League Soccer Clubs (MLS), Canada and USA College teams offers further opportunities to progress and lead onto students life journey career pathway

  • In England, if you’re currently in year 11 you must stay in education or training until the end of the academic year when you turn 18.
  • This doesn’t have to mean staying in school, it can be:
  • Full-time education, eg at a school or college, an apprenticeship etc.
  • Full-time employment (over 20 hours a week) combined with part-time education or training
